Racing Syndicates
Racing syndicates have been around for many years and for many it is a much better way to enjoy racing :-
- As costs are shared, it is more affordable.
- Fun is not diluted.
- Syndicates often own more than one horse, so risks are also shared.
Syndicates range from those where you put in several thousand pounds and get a share in a classically bred horse to those where you invest perhaps a hundred pounds and you get a very small share in a large club.
The team at Freedom Farm advise on all matters relating to racing syndicates; from the purchase of a suitable horse to recommending a compatible trainer.

Perhaps a small stake in a single horse could be the best way to start. For a twelfth share, you would pay that share of the cost of the horse, training costs and racing expenses. Against that you would receive a similar fraction of prize money won and proceeds when the horse is sold.
In addition you would get frequent stable visits, be fully informed on what is happening and usually make a whole series of new friends.
Another option is to join one of Freedom Farm's training syndicates, where training costs, racing expenses and prize money are shared, but the horse remains the property of Freedom Farm. This gives lots of fun and excitement with a minimum stake.
For 2009, the daughter of Magic Ring, their Saddlers Wells broodmare by Oratoria, will be in training with Stuart Williams at Diomed Stables in Newmarket. Up to a half of the this filly is still available for syndication, which will start when she enters training.
